Workshop Program
Day 1: Opening Ceremony & Orientation: Opening, lectures, group formation, and campus exploration at AYBU.
Day 2: The City of Campuses: Campus studies at Ankara University, Gazi University, and METU.
Day 3: The City in the Garden: Urban exploration of Ulus and Kızılay, followed by a seminar at the Chamber of Architects Ankara Branch by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tunçer & Prof. Dr. Banu Öztürk.
Day 4: The Underground City / Cappadocia: Field study in Derinkuyu, Göreme, and Uçhisar.
Day 5: The City of New Cities: Urban studies in Batıkent and Ostim.
Day 6: The Spiritual City / Konya: Field study of Konya’s Seljuk heritage and historic public spaces.
Day 7: The City on the Highway: İncek, Oran, Eskişehir Road, and Armada studies, followed by a seminar at TürkSMD by Ali Osman Öztürk.
Day 8: Production Workshop: Collaborative mapping, analysis, and design production at AYBU.
Day 9: Final Exhibition & Closing: Final presentations, exhibition, and closing programme.
