The workshop conducted in Kastamonu within the scope of the TNE23 project commenced on May 19-20, 2026 with a visit to Abdurrahman Paşa High School, the first official high school of Anatolia. Under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Salah Hajismail, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ekrem Bahadır Çalışkan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Filiz Karakuş, Dr. Çiğdem Aytekin, and Res. Asst. Bilgesu Ünalan, the workshop was successfully completed. Within Kurşunlu Han, which was built as a waqf work by Kemaleddin İsmail Bey, the last ruler of the Principalities of Candaroğulları, and Kasabaköy Mahmut Bey Mosque, which was constructed in 1366 during the period of the Principality of Candaroğulları, stands as one of the most significant examples of wooden-roofed and wooden-supported mosques in Anatolia, and was inscribed onto the World Heritage List in 2023, measurements were conducted utilizing a 3D laser scanner, and photogrammetry studies were carried out via an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone).
