Vertical Studio Section 2 Hospital Visit

As part of the “THE HEALING PHOENIX” hospital design studio for Studio 4 and Studio 6, a technical field trip was organized to the VM Medical Park (Keçiören) Ankara Hospital in Ankara on April 19. During the visit, the building was examined on-site based on architectural criteria such as plan layout, functional distribution, circulation patterns, massing, and facade character. Students had the opportunity to observe the relationship between spatial organization and operational functionality in healthcare facilities firsthand, and the data collected provided significant input for the project work to be developed throughout the semester.
