The Department of Architecture at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University held its start-of-term academic council meeting on February 9, 2026, to mark the beginning of the spring semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, with the participation of department faculty members. During the meeting, various topics related to the department’s educational activities and academic and administrative processes were discussed, and mutual consultations were held.
During the meeting, gifts were presented to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Emre Dinçer and Dr. Cemile Feyzan Şimşek, along with former Department Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeyda Emekci, to express gratitude for their valuable contributions and dedicated work during their tenure.
Additionally, Prof. Dr. Salah Hajismail, who has recently assumed his new position in the department, was congratulated on his appointment, and best wishes for his success were conveyed to him, along with the presentation of a gift.
The meeting concluded with shared hopes that the new academic year would be productive and successful for the Department of Architecture.
