The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkiye (TUBITAK) has
published the report of 2023 for "Field-Based Competence Analysis of Universities".
In the report, universities in Turkiye are ranked based on their quality and volume.
Within the scope of quality assessment, the relative citation effect of publications relative to
the world; the number of publications of the university in the top 10% of the most cited
publications worldwide; research productivity of academicians; the quality of R&D and
innovation projects; the number of publications cited by patents and international cooperation
and contribution to the internationalisation of our country/university were included in the
study as quality indicators.
There is 4 indicators that were included in the aspects of volume. These aspects are;
the contribution to the accumulation of knowledge in the world, the share of the critical mass
that creates academic value in that field in Turkey in the relevant university, the volume of
R&D and innovation projects, and the relative focus index of the university relative to Turkey
in the relevant field.
According to TÜBİTAK's 2023 report, AYBU is among the most qualified
universities in the field of law. Our university, which is evaluated to be ranked 5th in terms
of quality and volume together In the field of Social Sciences and Humanities/Law, is ranked
4th when only law faculties are considered. Based only on the quality score, AYBU ranks 7th
in the field of law, and based only on the volume score, AYBU ranks 5th in the field of law.
