Prof. Dr. Seldağ Güneş Peschke presented a paper on artificial intelligence at IAMCR 2024 Christchurch - New Zealand.

Our Faculty's Comparative Law Department faculty member Prof. Dr. Seldağ Güneş Peschke participated in the IAMCR 2024 Christchurch - New Zealand world conference, which has been organized in different world geographies since the 1940s and she represented our faculty. This year's world conference of "The International Association for Media and Communication Research - IAMCR", the largest globally recognized organization in the field of media and communication research, was held under the title "Weaving People Together" between 30 June and 04 July 2024, with more than 1400 researchers and academicians in Christchurch, New Zealand. Güneş Peschke was chairman of the first legal session titled "Freedom of the press and privacy" of the conference hosted by the University of Canterbery on 02 July 2024. She presented his notification on the new regulations adopted in the European Union in the context of artificial intelligence in the afternoon session of the same day. In the session attended by lawyers working in the field of media law in different countries of the world, evaluations were made, especially the latest legal developments on artificial intelligence and the current regulatory preparations of the countries.
