Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kılınç, Head of the Department of Legal History of our Faculty, gave a conference titled ‘Alternative Dispute Resolution Method in the Ottoman Empire: Muslihun’ at Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Law.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kılınç, the Head of the Department of Legal History of our Faculty, gave a conference titled ‘Alternative Dispute Resolution Method in the Ottoman Empire: Muslihun’ at the invitation of Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Law. In his presentation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kılınç, included the similarities and the differences between Muslihun and arbitration and judiciary, its characteristics, who can apply to the aforementioned method, and also on which the issues Muslihun can be applied. In his paper which he supported with many examples from practice, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kılınç emphasized that the Ottoman mediation has crucial experiences in terms of adding vision to today's mediation method.
