The Law and Technology Camp organized by AYBÜ Uygulamalı Hukuk Kulübü and held on 29 April 2024 and 9 May 2024 was successfully completed.
In the event, which was occured online in 8 sessions, speakers from different universities and institutions discussed legal technologies, digital transformation in law, protection of personal data, cloud computing contracts, blockchain and smart contracts, domain names and dispute resolution mechanisms and cybercrime.
In the event, Dr. Emre İkbal Açıkgöz, one of the research assistants of our Faculty, made his presentation on "Cybercrimes" and Dr. Furkan Güven Taştan made his presentation on "Protection of Personal Data in Turkish Law".
The closing speech of the event, which was attended by law faculty students and practitioners from various universities, was made by our Dean Prof. Dr. Neslihan Karataş Durmuş. In her speech, our Dean gave information about the courses and activities related to information and technology law in the curriculum of our faculty and emphasized that our work in this field will keep increasing.
