“The International Association for Media and Communication Research – IAMCR”, which is a globally recognised international organisation in the field of media and communication organises an international conference every year since 1940s. The first conference after the pandemic era titled “Inhabiting the Planet: Challenges for Media, Communication and Beyond” was held between 9-13 July 2023 in Lyon, France, with the participation of around 1000 people from different countries.
Prof. Dr. Seldağ Güneş Peschke from our Faculty of Law, Department of Comparative Law, presented a paper titled “Future Regulations for Health Data in EU” on 12 July 2023, which was prepared within the scope of PandeVita Project, supported by the European Union within the scope of Horizon 2020 program, in which our Faculty take part as a partner organisation. Güneş Peschke touched upon the recent developments in the European Union regarding the health data and practice of GDPR. She specifically underlined the upcoming legal regulations expected to be entered into force in the European Union in the future.
