224. Wednesday Seminar – The Right to be Forgotten: Examples from Different Countries

224. Wednesday Seminar at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University Faculty of Law, titled “The Right to be Forgotten: Examples from Different Countries”, was presented by Research Assistant Aybeniz Aklan.

In the presentation, first, the historical development of the right to be forgotten was explained. The importance of the right to be forgotten in the GDPR and the PDPL was discussed and then the presenter brought different country experiences and jurisprudence forward in order to evaluate the right to be forgotten comparatively.
