215th Wednesday Seminar organised by the AYBU Faculty of Law has been held with a presentation of Res. Assist. Muhammed Emin YILDIZ from Philosophy and Sociology of Law Department and the title of presentation was ‘A Community Based on Legal Urge: 36 Boys’.
In his presentation, the 36 Boys group, formed in Berlin Kreuzberg, and the statements of community members were discussed in the context of sociology of community. The content analysis method is adopted for the study and it is argued that in legal and sociological context, the group can be regarded as a community who came together with a self-defense claim. In this regard, the contribution of the study to the field of sociology of law was underlined.
