Cross-Workshops 4 - Default in Employment and Wage Payment Obligations under Employment Contract was held (04.01.2022).

The 4th of the Cross-Workshops of our Faculty was held on the 4th January 2022. The Workshop was organized by the Res. Assist. Mehmet Zaid YENER from the Department of Civil Law with the participation of our Faculty’s Dean Prof. Dr. Hayri BOZGEYİK, Head of Department of Labour and Social Security Law Prof. Dr. Fatih UŞAN, Assist. Prof. Dr. Canan ERDOĞAN from the Department of Law and Social Security Law, and Research Assistants from Civil Law and Labour and Social Security Law Departments. In the presentation, the application of default provisions in Turkish Obligations Code to employment contracts, conditions and outcomes of default in wage payment under employment contract, impacts of the employee’s right to abstain from work, conditions and outcomes of default in employment obligations were discussed in the context of the decisions of Court of Cassation, Labour Law, and Civil Law.
