Uzbekistan Tashkent Law University Rector Professor Dr Islambek Rustambekovich and the accompanying guests visited our faculty and attended a programme which was also attended by our Rector Professor Dr Ibrahim Aydinli. In the programme, a meeting titled “International Arbitration” was held. After this meeting, our Rector and the guests from the Tashkent Law University joined the promotion event of our faculty.
The introductory programme started with a moment of silence for the martyrs of both countries and the national anthems of both countries. Our Dean, Professor Dr Hayri Bozgeyik gave an opening speech in which he pointed out the possibilities for cooperation between our faculty and Tashkent Law University. The programme continued with a presentation in which our faculty’s activities were introduced -both in English and Turkish- and our guest Dr Akhtam Yakubov’s speech. Then, our rector Professor Dr Ibrahim Aydinli and Uzbekistan Tashkent Law University Rector Professor Dr Islambek Rustambekovich made a short interview.
In the interview, the wishes for more cooperation – through the development of mutual legal and academic collaboration- between the Turkish and Uzbek societies were expressed. The programme ended with the exchange of the gifts and a group photo shoot.
