The 203rd Wednesday Seminar of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law was held with a presentation on “Seizure of Crypto Currency Assets within the Framework of Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law” by Research Assistant Vildan Erdoğan from the AYBU Civil Procedure Enforcement & Bankruptcy Law Department.
Res. Assist Vildan Erdoğan first gave general information about fundamental concepts such as blockchain technology and crypto currency. Then, she explained the processes of mining and transfer of crypto currencies. Following, Res. Assist. Vildan Erdoğan analysed the legal qualification of crypto currencies. Lastly, she gave information about execution proceedings about crypto money receivables, seizure of crypto currencies and conversion of crypto currencies into (fiat) money. After the informative presentation of Res. Assist Vildan Erdoğan, the question and answer section started, and the program ended.
