Our Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Şeyda TOPRAK ÇELENAY, attended the 2nd Rheumatology Health Professionals Congress, hosted by İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University on September 24–25, together with her students.
Prof. Dr. Şeyda TOPRAK ÇELENAY served as a moderator in the session entitled “Connective Tissue Diseases in All Aspects.”
Beyza AVCİ, a PhD student in the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Doctoral Program, delivered an oral presentation entitled “The Relationship Between Symptom Severity, Hand Grip Strength, and Functional Capacity in Women with Fibromyalgia: A Pilot Study,” which is related to her doctoral dissertation conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Şeyda TOPRAK ÇELENAY.
Zeynep Sinem Gögebakan, a fourth-year undergraduate student in the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, delivered an oral presentation entitled “Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and Associated Factors in Systemic Autoimmune Rheumatic Diseases.” The study was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Şeyda TOPRAK ÇELENAY and supported by the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program.
