Associate Professor Ertuğrul DEMİRDEL, a member of our department’s academic staff, organised by the Üsküdar University Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Student Club with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ Youth Projects Support Programme (ÜNİDES), aimed to address the topic of posture from a holistic perspective and, in this context, to enable students to gain knowledge and awareness regarding the assessment and treatment processes of postural disorders, and furthermore the concept of “standing tall” was examined from multifaceted perspectives such as psychological resilience, ethical values and social consciousness, he chaired a session and delivered a talk entitled “Postural Alignment, Biomechanical Foundations and Corrective Exercise Approaches”.
