On November 20–21, 2025, Dr. Mehmet Sadık Gür, a faculty member of our department, participated in the 4th International Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Symposium on the History of Islamic Science, held in Istanbul with the theme “Islamic Geography and Maritime History.” presented a paper titled “An Evaluation of Biruni's Work Tahdid Nihayât el-Emakin – An Attempt to Reflect Fuat Sezgin's Perspective in Translation.”
