The Department of Eastern Languages and Literatures, within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, has adopted the vision of playing a leading role in eastern languages education with its experienced and expert academic staff. Our department currently provides undergraduate education in the fields of Arabic Translation and Interpreting and Persian Language and Literature, and also continues its education and training activities in the Arabic Language and Literature graduate program. Our department's mission is to train individuals who can use the languages in Arabic and Persian effectively in written and spoken form and who have the necessary training to be employed in the public and private sectors.
