The competition held in Ankara on Saturday, October 18, 2025, was conducted in the Turkish to Arabic translation category using the traditional method (written exam). Students from various universities across Turkey participated in the competition. Eslem Lafatan, representing our university, won first place, while Mustafa Elsadam won second place.
The certificates of achievement and awards for the winning students will be presented at the opening ceremony of the “Symposium on Ömer Seyfettin (1884–1920) on the 140th Anniversary of His Birth,” to be held on November 13, 2025, by the Atatürk Cultural Center Presidency.
This achievement once again demonstrates the academic strength of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University in the field of translation education and the linguistic proficiency of its students.
