Dear students;

Nutrition and dietetics is a science that has preserved its importance from the existence of humans until now and will protect it in the future. Incorrect eating habits are the basis of health problems such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, which are increasing in prevalence today. Our aim is to train dieticians who are researcher, questioning, complying with ethical rules, sensitive to human and environment, beneficial to society by providing education and training in international scientific standards in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics; To ensure the formation and prevention of these health problems by providing the society with adequate and balanced nutritional habits.

Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Nutrition and Dietetics Department started student admission in the fall semester of 2017-2018. Our department has 7 faculty members and 3 research assistants who are competent in their field. Our department provides education in Turkish; It is divided into 4 departments as Nutritional Sciences, Dietetics, Community Nutrition and Institutional Food Service Systems.

The students of our department receive education in line with our goals and take part in projects and articles. In addition, by reinforcing his theoretical knowledge with laboratory applications and internships, he finds the opportunity to apply the knowledge he learned in practice. In addition to the academic equipment, both Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University and our Department of Nutrition and Dietetics have various social activities and our students' individual development is also provided with these social activities.
