12th Young Criminal Lawyers Congress was held at AYBU East Campus Conference Hall on 10-11 November 2016. The subject of the Congress was the Criminal Law Sanction Theory. The Congress was held with the participation of Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. M. Fatih UŞAN, teaching-felows Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal YERDELEN and Assist. Prof. Dr. Ömer ÇELEN at the Department of Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law of our Faculty, the congress science committee, team trainers, teaching-fellows from different fields of law and many students. On the first day of the Congress the students of Dicle Unversity, Dokuz Eylul University, Samsun Ondokuz Mayis University made their presentations. After the programme, the Constitutonal Court and the Turkey Justice Academy were visited with the participants. On the second day, the students of Ankara Unversity, Özyeğin Unversity, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Karadeniz Teknik Unversity made their presentations. The Congress was completed by the clossing speeches and the presentations of the plaquets to the participants. At the end of the Congress Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal YERDELEN and Yağız ŞENGÜLER performed a folk-song concert.
