Symposium on “Union Rights in Turkish Law” was organized in partnership with Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law and Confederation of Turkish Trade Union in Anadolu Downtown Hotels on 14 January 2019.
The symposium was started with the opening speech of AYBU Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. M. Fatih UŞAN, Chairman of Confederation of Turkish Trade Union Ergün ATALAY and AYBU Rector Prof. Dr. Metin DOĞAN.
In the 1st Session of the Program, Prof. Dr. Prof. Aydın BAŞBUĞ and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ercüment ÖZKARACA made their presentations on “Union Organization and Obstacles to Trade Union”. The session moderated by the President of the 9th Civil Chamber of Court of Cassation Mehmet ÇAMUR was ended with a question and answer part.
In the 2nd Session of the Program, Prof. Dr. Haluk Hadi SÜMER and Prof. Dr. Talat CANBOLAT made their presentations on “Right to Collective Labor Agreements, Authorization and Disputes”. The session moderated by the President of the 22nd Civil Chamber of Court of Cassation Seracettin GÖKTAŞ was ended with a question and answer part.
The symposium program ended after the closing speeches and the commemorative photograph.
