Prof. Dr. Seldağ Güneş Peschke Has Been Elected Co-Chair of the IAMCR Law Section for the 2026–2030 Term

Prof. Dr. Seldağ Güneş Peschke, faculty member at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law, has been elected as the Co-Chair of the Law Section of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR).
Established in 1957 under the auspices of UNESCO, IAMCR is one of the world's most established and prominent academic organizations in the field of media and communication studies, bringing together a global scholarly network of approximately 2,800 researchers from over 100 countries. With its conference proceedings indexed in prestigious international databases such as Web of Science, the Association is widely recognized as a preeminent global platform shaping scientific advancements in media, communication, digitalization, and the environment.
Prof. Dr. Seldağ Güneş Peschke’s co-chairmanship was announced at the 68th IAMCR Conference hosted by the University of Galway in Galway, Ireland, marking the first time in IAMCR’s history that a Turkish scholar has been elected as Section Head.
