Özbekistan Cumhurbaşkanlığı Mevzuat ve Hukuk Politikaları Kurulu’nun ev sahipliğinde düzenlenen “Temsilcilik Sistemi Modernizasyonunun Anayasal ve Hukuki Sorunları: Özbekistan için Uluslararası Deneyim” başlıklı sempozyumda sunulan akademik çalışmalar, titiz bir editörlük sürecinden geçerek kitap haline getirildi.

Academic Cooperation Transformed into a Lasting Work: Symposium Proceedings Published as a Book

Following the international symposium held in Uzbekistan last year, which attracted widespread attention in the legal world, the valuable papers presented are now available to readers as a reference work. This special publication, a product of the strong academic ties between Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBÜ) and Uzbekistan, was crowned with a meaningful ceremony.

The academic papers presented at the symposium titled “Constitutional and Legal Issues of Modernizing the Representation System: International Experience for Uzbekistan,” hosted by the Council of Legislative and Legal Policy under the Presidency of Uzbekistan, have been turned into a book after a meticulous editorial process.

The outputs of the symposium—chaired by AYBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu and covering a wide range of topics from constitutional systems to artificial intelligence—have, through this book, been contributed to the legal literature of both countries.

During the meeting held in honor of the book’s publication, the Dean of AYBÜ Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Neslihan Karataş Durmuş, presented the book containing the symposium proceedings to Prof. Dr. Kamil Rashidov, Member of the Council of Legislative and Legal Policy under the President of Uzbekistan. This work—featuring the Dean’s analysis of parliamentary systems through the examples of Türkiye and France, as well as Dr. Samet Tatar’s insights on the use of artificial intelligence in local governments—once again demonstrated that the exchange of knowledge between the two countries has evolved beyond words into lasting academic resources.

During the presentation ceremony, it was emphasized that such projects would further strengthen the ties between the Turkish and Uzbek legal communities. The AYBÜ Faculty of Law continues to shed light on both the digitalizing world order and comparative legal studies, while building a scientific bridge on the international stage.
