Academic Cooperation Initiative Between AYBÜ Faculty of Law and the Institute of Legislative and Legal Policy of Uzbekistan

AYBÜ Hukuk ve Özbekistan Hukuk Araştırmaları Enstitüsü’nden Akademik İş Birliği Hamlesi Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Üniversitesi (AYBÜ) Hukuk Fakültesi, uluslararası akademik ağını güçlendirmeye devam ediyor.

The Faculty of Law at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBÜ) continues to strengthen its international academic network. The faculty administration held a strategic meeting with the Institute of Legislative and Legal Policy under the Presidency of Uzbekistan, aiming to reinforce legal ties between the two countries. The highly productive meeting was led by Prof. Dr. Kamil Rashidov, member of the Institute of Legislative and Legal Policy under the President of Uzbekistan, and Prof. Dr. Neslihan Karataş Durmuş, Dean of the AYBÜ Faculty of Law.

The meeting was also joined by Dr. Samet Tatar, Head of the Department of Information Technology Law, and Dr. Cansu Korkmaz, a faculty member in the Department of Civil Procedure and Enforcement-Bankruptcy Law and Director of the International Arbitration Application and Research Center, with them representing the faculty.

Within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed on April 18, 2025, the parties agreed to develop joint projects and conduct academic research in various fields of law. In this context, it is planned to strengthen scientific collaboration between the two institutions and increase joint academic activities.

Officials from the AYBÜ Faculty of Law emphasized that this cooperation will bring a fresh perspective to regional legal studies and establish a lasting foundation for scientific solidarity between the two brother countries. In the coming period, this partnership is expected to yield results through international events and joint research initiatives.
