One of the members of our academic staff, Research Assistant Dr. Kamile Hilal Akbal, took part in the ‘IIIT Summer School’ program held between 12–22 August 2025, organized by CNS Sarajevo and hosted by the International University of Sarajevo.
This year’s summer school, held under the theme ‘Islam in Europe: Challenges of Pluralism’, brought together distinguished scholars and experts from various universities around the world. Among the participants were Dr. Shuruq Naguib, Dr. Ahmet Alibašić, Dr. Dževada Garić, Dr. Heba Raouf Ezzat, Dr. Jasser Auda, Dr. Jonathan Brown, Dr. Omar H. Kasule, Dr. Jorgen S. Nielsen, Dr. Beddy Ebnou, former Mufti of Bosnia Dr. Mustafa Cerić, and writer Hasan Nuhanović, all of whom delivered seminars in their respective fields of expertise.
At the closing ceremony, the Rector of the International University of Sarajevo, Prof. Ali Osman Kuşakçı, attended and presented certificates to all participants.
