Students from the Department of Software Engineering at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBÜ) have achieved a historic milestone in the LIFT UP Industry-Oriented Graduation Projects Program, organized by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ). The innovative research project titled
"Explainable Artificial Intelligence-Based Anomaly Detection in Satellite Telemetry Data," developed by our students
Bekir Berk YILDIRIM, Yaren DİNÇ, Mert ÖZDEMİR, and
Abdulmajeed Fathi Abdulmajeed ALREMALI of the
AzSonra team under the academic supervision of our Department Chair,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hilal ARSLAN, successfully advanced through a highly competitive evaluation process and was selected among the
top 18 projects out of
359 distinguished submissions from across Türkiye.
This remarkable accomplishment, achieved during the inaugural graduation period of our department, underscores the academic excellence, dedication, and research vision of AYBÜ. By developing cutting-edge AI-driven solutions tailored for complex aerospace engineering datasets, our project team has proudly demonstrated the high standards of technical innovation fostered within our department.
