The project titled “Development of a Single-Tube Multiplex qPCR Diagnostic Kit for Screening Mycobacteria in Clinical Samples and Identifying Clinically Significant Species Using Explainable Artificial Intelligence,” in which our department members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hilal Arslan and Research Assistant Esma Nur Kocataş serve as researchers, has been approved for funding by the Turkish Health Institutes Presidency (TÜSEB).
The project will be carried out through the collaboration of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Lokman Hekim University, and the General Directorate of Public Health of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health. Within the scope of the project, an innovative single-tube multiplex qPCR diagnostic kit will be developed using explainable artificial intelligence methods to detect mycobacteria in clinical samples and identify medically significant species.
We congratulate the project team and wish them continued success in their work.
