As the Department of International Relations, we brought our alumni together with our students at the “3rd Alumni Talks” event, which was held via Zoom on Wednesday, May 13 at 8:30 PM. Our alumni Mert Aslan, Ferhat Çağlayan, Safiye Ergun Kaya, and Beyza Nur Gültekin participated in the event as speakers.
During the event, our alumni shared their experiences and insights on career planning, master’s and PhD application processes, studying and living abroad, qualifications sought in the private sector, internship opportunities, and ways students can improve themselves throughout their undergraduate education. Continuing their work in different sectors and academic fields, our alumni provided valuable guidance to our students regarding both academic and professional life.
Important discussions were held on a variety of topics, ranging from master’s and doctoral experiences in Germany, Ireland, and Italy to working processes in international companies, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector. We would like to thank our alumni, faculty members, and students for their participation and valuable contributions.
