About the Department
Department of Finance and Banking provides services in the Department of Finance and Banking. The department has been continuing its active undergraduate education since the 2011-2012 academic year. In the academic staff of the department, there are 3 Associate Professor, 2 Doctoral Faculty Members, 1 Lecturer Doctor, 1 Research Assistant. As of the 2022-2023 academic year, there are 274 active undergraduate students in the department.
In addition to the basic courses, the department mainly offers field courses for specialization. The department aims to train highly equipped students with a macro and micro economic perspective, who constantly research and renew themselves in competitive market conditions.
Students graduating from the department may have the opportunity to pursue an academic career and can apply for A-class specializations for public institutions. In addition, our graduates may have the opportunity to work in institutions such as the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Court of Accounts, BRSA, CMB, public and private banks, finance companies as well as independent accountants, financial advisors and certified public accountants.
