HISTORY OF THE FACULTY
Şereflikoçhisar Faculty of Applied Technology and Management was established as a subordinate of Aksaray University on 27/9/2010 by the Council of Ministers in accordance with the additional article 30 of the Law No. 2809 dated 28/3/1983, upon the letter of the Ministry of National Education dated 24/9/2010 and numbered 17352. Education and training service in the Banking and Finance Department of our school started in the 2011-2012 academic year. After the physical infrastructure and academic staff needs are completed, it is planned to admit students to other departments. Education-Training service was carried out in Şereflikoçhisar Berat Cömertoğlu Vocational School building in 2011 and as of August 2014, it moved to its own building. Our first graduates in the Department of Banking and Finance were given in the 2014-2015 academic year, and the first students were admitted to the Department of International Trade and Logistics in the same year. While our faculty is a 4-year college affiliated to Aksaray University, it has been converted into a faculty in accordance with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 15.03.2018 and numbered 11394. Then, it was transferred to Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Our students continue their education in the Finance and Banking Department and International Trade and Logistics departments actively within our faculty. As of the 2021-2022 academic year, graduate education with/without thesis started in the Department of International Trade and Finance. Our faculty continues with 5 associate professors, 5 doctoral faculty Members, 2 lecturer, 2 research assistants as academical personal and 520 students.
