Students from the Civil Defense and Firefighting Program at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University successfully completed a 5-day Basic Firefighter Training Program organized by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department between November 10 and 14.
During the training, the students were closely monitored by all units of the Konya Fire Department and received comprehensive theoretical and practical training in areas such as firefighting methods, breathing apparatus use, rescue techniques, emergency response, and occupational safety. The high performance demonstrated by the students in the practical drills was also appreciated by the instructors.
At the end of the program, the students earned the Basic Firefighter Training Certificate. It was stated that this certificate will significantly contribute to the students' professional competence and provide a strong start to their careers. We would like to thank the valuable administrators of our university for their permission and transportation support, and the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department for their support and dedication to the students.
