History of the School
The Vocational School of Social Sciences was originally founded in 2016 and restructured in 2021 following the division of the Vocational School of Technical Sciences and the Vocational School of Social Sciences at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University.
The school currently offers active programs in Public Relations and Publicity, Civil Aviation Cabin Services, and Civil Defense and Firefighting. The Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program is certified by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the national aviation authority, in compliance with international aviation standards. Students who successfully complete the program graduate with both an associate degree and an internationally recognized Cabin Crew Basic Training Certificate.
Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University is the first and only public university in Turkey authorized to provide this certification.
