During Fire Department Week, celebrated between September 25 and October 1, students from the Civil Defense and Firefighting Program at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University's School of Social Sciences visited the Ankara Fire Department on September 30, 2025.
First- and second-year students participated in the visit, which was conducted under the guidance of our faculty members. Our students had the opportunity to learn more about their profession by receiving information from professional teams in the field. At the same time, they celebrated Firefighters' Week by witnessing the dedicated work of the fire department personnel.
On the occasion of this meaningful visit, we congratulate all our firefighters who work tirelessly to combat fires and disasters on Firefighters' Week and wish them success in their dedicated work.
