An orientation program was organized for first-year students who will study in the Civil Defense and Firefighting Program of the Property Protection and Security Department at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. The training, aimed at helping students quickly adapt to university and professional life, covered the university's vision, the structure of the department and program, course content, internship processes, and success criteria.
The program also covered professional ethics, discipline, occupational health and safety; information was provided about campus facilities, social activities, and disaster and emergency plans. At the end of the training, students also gained detailed information about career opportunities after graduation, enabling them to make a more informed start to their academic and social life.
