This year's competition saw fierce international rivalry, with a total of 71 projects participating from 15 different countries. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Salah Hajismail and Res. Asst. Fatma Zehra Süer, our students participated with their healthcare facility designs developed during the design studio.
Among the global competitors, our student Lina Esam Eldin achieved an extraordinary double victory by winning the First Prize in the "Acute Healthcare" category and receiving the "Highly Commended" award in the "Primary + Community Healthcare" category. Furthermore, our student Dilara Sabancıoğlu achieved great success by winning the First Prize in the "Primary + Community Healthcare" category.
This international recognition stands as a testament to the high standards of architectural education, rigorous environmental performance modeling, and innovative design approach nurtured within our department.
