How do we design an inclusive space?
And why is this a topic we must address today as architecture students?
All students are invited to the Accessibility in Architecture Workshop – ENGELSIZM, which will take place at AYBU Esenboğa Campus on 12 December 2025. The workshop aims to transform accessibility from a theoretical concept into a hands-on experience grounded in exploration and field observation.
Program
* In the first session, Assoc. Prof. İlkay Dinç Uyaroğlu and Architect Kubilay Karagül will present accessibility from a designer’s perspective.
* Afterwards, participants will conduct on-site evaluations across the AYBU Esenboğa Campus within the scope of the Campus Accessibility Evaluation and Reporting Workshop, focusing on the needs of different user profiles. The workshop will conclude with a discussion session and a certificate of participation.
