Welcome to the Department of Management,
While we prepare our students for managerial positions in the public and private sector by providing theoretical and practical capabilities in the areas of Human Resources Management, Management and Organization, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology Management with our department's expert academicians, by adhering to the mission of "Entrepreneurial University" we offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs to raise youth with an entrepreneurial outlook.
Within these programs, our department, which also aims to reveal the research skills of our students during their education, is one of the few departments that have a student-oriented education program that will enable our graduates to analyze and solve the problems they encounter in business life by approaching them both practically and scientifically.
In our undergraduate program, we follow a strategy based on university-industry-public cooperation in order to ensure that our students graduate with work experience within the scope of the "compulsory internship" applied to our 3rd and 4th grade students. With this application, we aim to reinforce the professional development of our students through practicing in a field related to their profession during their education.
By prioritizing continuous development and innovation as a strategic goal, our department has also built its research infrastructure on solid foundations with the graduate programs it offers. In that vein, we continue to offer the Turkish and English MBA programs prepared for managers within the Department of Business Administration; two "Management Organization" master programs in Turkish and English and a "Management Organization" doctorate program within the Department of Management and Organization; and also the "International Financial Reporting and Auditing" non-thesis master program in Turkish under the Department of Accounting. Our students who have graduated from the "Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management" master's program with thesis, which is planned to be opened in the near future, will have opportunities to realize their business ideas in the pre-incubation center of our university.
In addition to their scientific competencies our department's academic staff has a competence that enriches their scientific achievements with research projects by signing different projects within the framework of university-industry-public cooperation in the research centers operating within our faculty and our university, and thus they are able impart their practical experiences to our students in addition to theoretical frameworks.
