The “Program Monitoring & Evaluation Workshop”, organized by our faculty, was held on November 28, 2025, with broad participation from our faculty’s dean, vice deans, and academic staff from all departments.
The workshop began with opening remarks by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin TUTAR. Following the opening, our Vice Dean, Dr. Gülten ÜNAL, presented the program monitoring and evaluation processes, which are intended to be implemented in all departments within our faculty, in a presentation titled “ITBF Program Monitoring & Evaluation Workshop” and provided information about the scope of the work to be undertaken.
Following this, Prof. Dr. Arif BAKLA, Head of the Department of Translation and Interpreting, presented “Preparing Effective Course Syllabuses Using Bloom's Taxonomy”, sharing the principles of syllabus preparation based on Bloom's taxonomy, exam question writing techniques, and practical examples with the attendees.
Afterwards, Dr. Funda Salman, Deputy Chair of the Psychology Department, presented her presentation titled “Psychology Program Quality Monitoring and Evaluation”, sharing the quality processes implemented in the Psychology Department with our faculty through exemplary practices.
The workshop continued with group work, where 8 departments within our faculty met with their own working groups to develop roadmaps for program monitoring and evaluation processes, and concluded with an evaluation session.
