Within the scope of Atatürk Culture Center's “Personalities Guiding the Turkish State and Thought Life” project, the book entitled al-Fārābī: The Philosopher Transcending the Ages, prepared by Prof. Dr. Mehmet VURAL, a faculty member of the Department of Philosophy, was published in 7 languages (Turkish, English, French, German, Russian, Arabic and Persian).
Aiming to introduce al-Fārābī to younger generations, the work emphasizes the richness of Turkish culture and thought life and its originalities that can be compared with Western thought.
