The COST Action titled CA22126 – European Network on Lexical Innovation (ENEOLI) aims to examine—through interdisciplinary methods—lexical innovations and the formation of new words emerging in European languages. Our department faculty members, Asst. Prof. Dr. Büşra ÖZER ERDOĞAN and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kübra ÇELİK, serve as working group members within this Action.
The COST Action titled CA22139 – Justice to Youth Language Needs (Y-JustLang) focuses on identifying the linguistic and communicative needs encountered by children and young people during their interactions with the justice system and on improving practices in this field. Our department faculty member, Asst. Prof. Dr. Büşra ÖZER ERDOĞAN, serves as a working group member within this Action.
The COST Action titled CA23105 – Language Plurality in Europe’s Changing Media Sphere (PLURILINGMEDIA) conducts work aimed at preserving linguistic diversity and increasing its visibility within Europe's evolving media landscapes. Our department faculty member, Asst. Prof. Dr. Burcu TÜRKMEN, serves as a working group member within this Action.
Finally, the COST Action titled CA24137 – Literary Multilingualism and Social Transformations in Superdiverse Societies (MultiLiLiTrans) examines the phenomenon of multilingualism in literature and its relationship with processes of social transformation. Our department faculty members, Asst. Prof. Dr. Burcu TÜRKMEN and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kübra ÇELİK, serve as working group members within this Action. The active participation of our department's faculty members in COST Actions strengthens our visibility within international research networks while also making significant contributions to academic collaborations in the fields of translation studies, linguistics, and multilingualism.
