The first training module of the BAP Project entitled “Professional Aspects of Information-Seeking Behaviors in Diplomatic Translation and an Information Literacy Training Program: An Interdisciplinary Study”, coordinated by Assist. Prof. Dr. Büşra ÖZER ERDOĞAN from the Department of Translation and Interpreting and conducted with the participation of Assist. Prof. Dr. Demet SOYLU from the Department of Information Management as a researcher, was held online between 18 and 22 April 2026.
Focusing on both the theoretical and practical dimensions of diplomatic translation, the training program provided participants with an opportunity to enhance their professional knowledge and skills. The project’s educational activities will continue with the second module, Information Literacy Training for Diplomatic Translators. Both modules are delivered with contributions from distinguished academics and experienced professionals from the field.
