Aims and Objectives

AIMS

For The Faculty

  1. To provide a working environment within the body of Yıldırım Beyazıt Faculty of Islamic Sciences that has reached institutional  maturity in which each individual has the right to say, able to take objective, right and principled decisions instead of an environment in which personal will is prevalent.
  2. To contribute our staff to obtain the awareness of high efficiency and quality awareness to develop themselves and the society.
  3. To maintain and develop the relation between the institutions as much as possible within the framework of respect and toleration.
  4. To increase scientific relations with nations. (To participate in scientific meetings and classes abroad, to do research)
  5. To handle recent religious problems and convey proper solutions to these problems to the public periodically.
  6. By conducting joint multidisciplinary studies and constitute academic committees with this purpose.
     

For The Academic Staff

  1. To provide a working environment for our academic staff that will motivate their academic studies.
  2.  To make use of the background and experience of our academic staff as much as possible and provide benefit to the public.
  3. To make academic studies more effective.
  4. To train qualifies academicians able to solve religious, ethical and cultural problems of the country.
     

For The Student

  1. In the direction of participant togetherness, to increase scientific quality by taking the opinion, idea and demands of the students into consideration.
  2. To provide an awareness to our students that they are the students of Faculty of Islamic Sciences.
  3. To train students
  1. able to learn the religion by searching it from the primary sources and evaluate it in accordance with scientific data,
  2. able to assimilate the religion and cultural heritage and find solution to the recent problems,
  3. open to constructive criticism and respectful to other opinions and beliefs,
  4. able to inform the society in terms of religion and answer their needs with true information,
  5. not to be imitating but to be inquisitive and able to make a choice,
  6. open to new information and able to improve oneself along with the society,
  7. have competency to assimilate religious heritage and use it for the benefit of the society,
  8. able to analyse various religious events and have Islamic Sciences notion.
     

OBJECTIVES

  1. To realize a more modern, participant and democratic understanding in the direction of the main objective of Turkish Republic.
  2. To continue the processes of scientific education and production in the direction of private and universal objectives of Yıldırım Beyazıt University.
  3. To develop our institutional structure by constituting a responsible participative and participant management mechanism.
  4. To continue our understanding of education in accordance with the requirement of life effectively, to conduct our academic activities for the benefit of the society.
  5. To peruse the agenda of the country and the world closely and to find solution to current and historical issues with a scholarly perspective.
  6. To conduct academic studies of international standards by making our working performance highly effectively.
