Islamic Law/Jurisprudence is a science that put forth the the provisions of daily life of Islam based on ceratin evidences and sources, and, thus, provide learning individual's religious rights and obligations.
Islamic Jurisprudence’s aim is to teach following:
1-The practical side of individual’s responsibilities towards God,
2-The legal accumulation and tradition formed in Muslim societies,
3-The methods followed in reaching religious-legal provision,
4-The philosophical basis of the provisions belong to the law and religion,
5-Thinking of modern law and its basic concepts and theories.
Islamic Law, which regulates the relation of individual with God, other people, society,encompasses the all stages of life. we can express basically the subject of Islamic law in the following: Ibadats (Worships/Practices), The Family Law, Social Relations, Ciriminal Law, Inheritance Law
Various lessons are studied in our Program. These are Islamic Jurisprudence, The History of Islamic Jurisprudence, The Methodology of Islamic Jurisprudence, The Comparative İslamic Jurisprudence, Relifion and the State, Religion and Economy, Classical and Modern Texts of Fiqh, Contemporary Problems of Islamic Jurisprudence.
