The Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) has opened applications for its Internship Program (KIST School Internship Program), which is designed as a preparatory opportunity for students intending to pursue graduate (Master’s or PhD) studies at KIST.
Applicants must currently hold active student status at their home institutions throughout the internship period. Individuals who are not enrolled as students are not eligible to apply. Students who have fewer than three academic semesters remaining before graduation, as of April 13, 2026, are eligible to submit applications.
Interns are required to be physically present on the KIST campus for the duration of the program. Therefore, it is recommended that selected candidates consider temporarily suspending their academic enrollment at their home institutions during the internship period.

The KIST Internship Program covers accommodation and daily living expenses; however, participants are expected to cover their own international travel costs.

Applications must be submitted through the official KIST School website. Please note that The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) is not involved in the application or selection process.
