Abstract: Fiber lasers are modern laser systems that use doped optical fibers as the active medium and provide advantages such as high beam quality, high efficiency, and low maintenance requirements. Today, they are widely used in metal processing and precision manufacturing technologies. In this seminar, the operating principles and fundamental characteristics of fiber lasers were examined, and their industrial applications such as metal cutting, laser welding, marking, and additive manufacturing were discussed. In addition, examples of their use in the automotive, aerospace, electronics, and defense industries were evaluated, and their contributions to manufacturing processes were analyzed. This study aims to present the importance and potential of fiber laser technology in modern industry.
