Our department’s research assistant, Ayşe Nur ALAGÖZ, presented her paper titled “Viewing 16th Century Turkestan Through the Eyes of an English Merchant” at the session held at Uzbekistan-Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies as part of the 2nd Congress of Young Academics of the Turkic World. In her study, she evaluated the socio-cultural structure of 16th century Turkestan in light of archival documents and travel narratives.
