BAP Project Approved

The research project titled “Professional Aspects of Information Seeking Behaviors in Diplomatic Translation and Information Literacy Training Application: An Interdisciplinary Investigation,” led by Faculty Member Büşra ÖZER ERDOĞAN from the Department of English Translation and Interpreting, and in which our department faculty member Demet SOYLU participates as a researcher, has been evaluated by our university’s BAP Commission and approved for support.

Within the scope of the project, the information-seeking behaviors of diplomatic translators will be examined in their professional dimensions; based on these findings, an information literacy training application for translators will be developed. The study aims to present a holistic approach between the disciplines of translation studies and information and document management.
