Job Opportunities

Computer engineers can undertake different tasks in industry and service fields. Computer systems are actively used in almost every sector of the business world (telecommunications, entertainment, automotive, etc.). Computer engineers are needed in many fields in order to produce, test and use these computer systems effectively. Some of the areas of work for computer engineers are software, hardware and consulting companies where computer aided solutions are developed and adapted. In these companies, computer engineers work on the development, testing, support, marketing and management of software and hardware solutions in an organized team with various production processes and methods. In addition, with the developing technology, they can develop smart phone applications and contribute to this sector. In short, they work in the software and hardware part of computer aided systems. The majority of computer engineers working in the public sector work as system analysts and trainers, while the majority of computer engineers working in private organizations work as software and hardware developers. It is observed that computer engineers work extensively in the private sector.
