Horse Breeding and Coaching Program prepares students for careers in Colt Training, Horse Production, Horse Training, Stable Management, Riding Instruction, and more. Students who have a strong equine background work with leading industry trainers to maximize their skills in and out of the arena. The students work on core equitation, basic to advanced horsemanship, starting colts, and all aspects of horse and herd management. Our location in the center of hippotherapy in Çubuk Campus makes it the ideal place to learn what it takes to manage and train horses. Our facilities include two large arenas for outside riding.
Our goals and objectives are expressed as follows:
1)Knowledge about equine physiology, anatomy
2)Students can approach as scientific knowledge to the nutrition, training and take care of the horse skills and attitudes
3)Respect for human and animal rights
4)Acts according to the rules of professional ethics, to train qualified personnel to work in racehorse trainer, horse breeding industry
Our education program can lead students into Veterinary Medicine and more. Our approach to covering basic equine science allows students the opportunity to step outside of the classroom and work hands-on with classmates in the program.
Upon graduation, students may start their own businesses, work as independent trainers and behavioral consultants find work at riding stables, training facilities, or equestrian centers.
